The “stress table” by Thomas H. Holmes (see below) does an excellent job illustrating the challenges we face before, during, and after foreign assignments. Holmes’ studies prove that an accumulation of more than 300 points within a year lead to an 80% chance of serious health issues during the next year, either physical or psychological.
